Hi, I'm Becky.

I am a Marketing Coordinator for Ferguson Pape Baldwin Architects, where I develop project proposals and produce marketing materials to promote the firm's brand. I grew up and went to school in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and I've always been fascinated by the ever-evolving field of media and journalism. I'm particularly passionate about the visual aspect of storytelling and am constantly working to learn new methods of engaging audiences through graphics.

One of my greatest accomplishments was leading UNC-Chapel Hill's 140-member community service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, in the fall of 2015. As the president, I oversaw the planning and execution of more than 100 service projects, 50 social events and three fundraisers that raised more than $6,000 for local charities. I was also recognized by 89 percent of active membership as having good or very good communication.

I am also very proud of the magazine for which I served as Art Director. See more here.

Hobbies & Travels

When I'm not expanding my portfolio or blogging about local restaurant vis comm., I enjoy watching Game of Thrones (or dressing up as Cersei) and stalking Reddit (r/dataisbeautiful anyone?). I also love hiking and recently developed an interest in Milky Way photography.

I studied abroad in the summer of 2015 and visited international organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Austria. Aside from researching
intervention in Bosnian media, I loved experiencing the culture and gorging on ćevapi.
